Walter Psotka has spent a lifetime behind the camera, beginning his photographic journey as a teenager and publishing his first work at just 17. With decades of experience spanning public relations, weddings, corporate and executive portraits, events, and photo restoration, Walter brings a rare combination of technical expertise, artistry, and genuine connection to every assignment.

A longtime member and former chairman of the Professional Photographers Association of Ontario, Walter was honoured as International Day Photographer of the Year in 1993, competing against leading photographers from Ontario and New York State.

After 38 years operating his downtown Toronto studio, Walter now works from his home studio in the Beaches/Bluffs area. Known for taking on challenging assignments and exceeding expectations, he believes great photography begins with understanding the client—their vision, needs, and story.

With a deep foundation in traditional photography and decades of hands-on experience, Walter continues to refine his craft and bring a thoughtful, personal approach to every photograph.
